Rc application

I’ have a project I need electronic help with. I’m trying to activate a horn and two linear actuators using my rc transmitter and receiver. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is a picture of my project

Hello.

Do you have any information about the horn or linear actuators? For example, are the actuators driven by brushed DC motors and if so, what is their operating voltage and how much current do they draw? Also, do they have built-in limit switches or some other feedback signal that you need to account for? If you cannot find any specifications on the units themselves, you might try searching for a part number to try to find a datasheet or user’s guide on-line.

12 volt DC they have do have limit switches. The horns are 12 volt DC also. I’m powering them with 18 volt DC drill batteries

If your actuators use brushed DC motors and you want to control them from an RC signal, you might consider our Jrk G2 Motor Controllers. Unfortunately, without more specific details about the specs (i.e. the current draw), I cannot recommend a specific model, but I generally recommend choosing one that can handle the stall current of your actuator continuously. Additionally, if they are 12V actuators and you are using an 18V battery, I recommend limiting the maximum duty cycle to around 67% to effectively run them at 12V. (With the Jrk you can either do this through configuring the Max duty cycle setting or when mapping the RC input; see the Jrk G2 user’s guide for more information about configuring it.)
