QTR-md08Rc A7 and A6 readings problem with arduino nano

Hi! For some peculiar reason my readings for the A7 and A6 pins are the same and is usually near the value 50 when using the rawvaluesexample. This results in them being equal to 0 when using the QTRRCexample code (with the calibration) at the serial monitor. I thought it may be defective so i bought a new sensor, however the same problem arose. Would somebody help me try to figure out the problem?

Note: the sensor’s detection is fine, the problem is how it for some reason doesn’t want to work with the a7 and a6 analog pins

Hello.

The A6 and A7 pins on an Arduino Nano cannot be used as digital I/O. You can find more discussion about that in this Arduino forum thread. Unfortunately, that means our RC (digital) type QTR sensors, like the QTR-MD-08RC, will not work with those pins.
