Hi,
would that be possible to know the necessary time for the IR Diode to establish current when the LEDON pin goes from low to high ? We would like to reduce the current consumption around 10 mA, but we need to respect very precise timing.
What about using the PWM on the pin ?

Hello.

We do not have that time characterized. However, you can use a PWM signal on the LEDON pin to control the effective LED brightness and decrease the sensor’s power consumption.
