I recently bought a QTR-1RC sensor and I’m trying to use it with an ESP (Wemos Mini D1).
My objective is to count the revlution of a wheel like this (on photo).

On the wheel you can see an metalic part, and one black part.
Do you think the QTR-1RC will be able to see the wheel and differentiate the black/metallic part ?
If you think it’s possible, I will try to post code for my project, but you may have some sample to share on this forum.

Depending on your system, you might be able to use the QTR-1RC reflectance sensor to detect when your wheel has complete a full revolution. If you have not done so already, I suggest trying out the sensor in your setup to see if it registers. You should make sure to calibrate your reflectance sensor before running your test.
We do not have any code examples available that count the revolutions of a wheel. However, if you have some code already written and it is not working as you expect, you can post your code here, and I would be happy to take a look.
