Pololu USB to serial adapter driver, Windows Vista

I installed the Pololu USB to serial adapter driver on my laptop that runs on Windows Vista. However, the drivers are not working. When I go to Device Manager, it states the following: “Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)”

Is there a solution to this? If so, please provide step by step instructions. Are there any other alternatives?

Hello, Steven.

To get the Pololu USB-to-Serial adapter to work in Windows Vista 64-bit, you have to disable driver signature enforcement. Please see my post in this thread for more information.
