Hi,
I have a setup where I’m using a Pololu RC Switch with Small Low-Side MOSFET on a custom built FPV drone. I have successfully configured the switch to activate an electronic device on the drone. However, I’m interested in knowing if I can have the switch ON in case of a failsafe? Right now the switch activates when I flip a button on the remote controller. Is it possible to keep it on if the drone looses its communication with the radio controller (and basically the switch does not receive any pulses)?
Thank you!
Florin
Hello, Florin
Unfortunately, the RC switch with Small Low-Side MOSFET cannot be configured to leave the output on when it is no longer receiving a valid signal.

Hi, Brandon!
Thank you for the fast reply.
For anyone who might have this question, I have found what I consider to be a very good workaround. If the switch is controlled through an ELRS PWM receiver, the receiver can be configured to send the same PWM pulse in case of a failsafe. This way the switch will continue to work in case of a failsafe.
Best regards!
Florin
