Pololu Adjustable Boost Regulator 2.5-9.5V in parallel?

I am thinking to use a Pololu Adjustable Boost Regulator 2.5-9.5V win a Lipo battery 3.7v to get an output 9V to use with 2 HP minimotors (1.6A). Could use 2 Pololu Adjustable Boost Regulator 2.5-9.5V in parallel to get 4A??. I see that the integrated 2 A switch allows but what happen if I put 2 in parallel?.
Thanks

Hello.

It’s difficult to get the two units to share a load evenly, so you definitely cannot count on double the output if you use two units in parallel. If you can separate the two supplies, it would be better to use one regulator per motor. By the way, make sure you are aware that the 2A limit is on the input side. For instance, with 3.7V in and an 80% efficiency, your maximum output is about 650 mA.
