Pololu 5V Step-Up/Step-Down Voltage Regulator S18V20F5 Radio Noise (EMI)

I’m researching about dc-dc converters and this little boy is perfect: https://www.pololu.com/product/2574
I’m having currently a buck converter (step-down) very close to the wifi-bluetooth module of my raspberry pi in my project.
I want to upgrade it to an step-down-step-up like the one linked. How much noise is going to add to my bluetooth communication? how much is going to kill my signal range? Is there any data about that?
Is there a way of avoiding the radio noise, like shielding it?

Any tips and / or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Hi.

That kind of noise is hard to characterize, and there are going to be many factors that affect how much a particular regulator might interfere with your particular setup. The details of each particular regulator will also matter, so I don’t think there is a blanket statement we can make about one topology (type) of regulator being noisier than another. I recommend you just try it, and if you have problems, we can work on reducing them.

Many thanks, will do!
