Hi there,
I’m sorry, but my knowledge of electronics has fallen asleep a bit…
I would like to connect an LED to the PG pin as an indicator light.
The description only says something about a pull-up resistor.
In other words, how and what must/can I connect?
Maybe you could add a small sketch of the correct wiring in the official description, then there won’t be any more stupid questions.
Thank you very much and best regards,
Florian
Hello, Florian.
Which specific regulator you are considering and what specific behavior do you want from the indicator LED?

Hello Patrick,
thanks for your answer, I do have a D30V30F12.
I would like to connect a green LED which indicates “everything OK” and goes off when something is not ok.
Like it is described in description “that goes low when the regulator’s output voltage either rises more than 7.5% (typical) above or falls more than 9% (typical) below the nominal voltage”
Best regards,
Florian
Here is a connection diagram showing how you could add an LED that behaves like that. When selecting an LED and current limiting resistor, please keep in mind that the PG pin is probably not intended to handle more than a few milliamps (so probably something like 2k-10k would be appropriate).
