I have bought a OrangutnX2 Package and i have a question about the attached LCD.
The 4-line x 20-character LCD has LED backlight but i don’t know how to switch it on. Can i switch on its backlight through any functions from LCD.c or melodies.c of ox2m644_test ?
One of the Trim-potentiometers adjusts the contrast of the LCD, but with the stock OranguganX2 the LCD backlight should be on all the time. Is yours not coming on when you power up the X2?

P.S. By adding a resistor you can dim or completely shut off the backlight, and by adding a wire you can give yourself software on/off control from an I/O Pin.
