Hello all, I’m a complete nub when it comes to electronics… so I’m going to ask for your help and ideas with this project… any input would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, what i want to know is if this is possible…
and second HOW? lol The secondary power supply would be completely independent of the primary (not in-line or subservient) When the secondary p/s is powered on by the button in the middle the two doors slide open and reveal the main power supply, along with my DVD drive, as well as other fan knobs and LCD display screens…
when I’m done and turning it off, the main power will go off line, then i can press the secondary power switch (the one in the middle) and the doors will close back up hiding all…
Let me know what you think, and if it is possible, what i might need to buy, and how i might need to hook it up
