Hi, I need a very simple 1A DC brushed motor controller with forward and reverse, no speed control required. It looked to me like the RB-Pol-110 dual motor controller might do the trick. My question is: can I control the motors with simple mechanical switches on the inputs, without having to provide a PWM signal? Also, any suggestions on IR remote control would be very helpful.
Are you talking about our TB6612FNG Dual Motor Driver Carrier? It can be controlled with switches and should be fine for your application - just leave PWM permanently high. For more information, please read over the datasheet.
Unfortunately, I do not have a IR board to recommend.
