My ball caster comes with separate dowel pins.
Is there any easy way to insert them?

Hello.
If you remove the ball from the caster you should see the mounting holes and the spots for where the dowel pins to go. Then you can reinsert the ball once the dowel pins are installed and the housing is mounted.
