Modifying the position of the stepper motor

Please let us know how to modify or set an arbitrary position number using the ticcmd into the memory.

This is for tic 36v4 driver.




It sounds like you might be referring to either the “Target position” or “Current position” variable. If you want to set a new “Target position” you can use the --position NUM option. To set the “Current position” variable, you can use the --halt-and-set-position NUM option. You can find more information about these commands in the “Command reference” section of the Tic user’s guide.
