Minimum Switching Voltage for RC Switch #1211

Hi

What is the minimum voltage that the Medium Low side RC Switch will successfully switch. I need to switch a 1.2V supply with a load of approx 2-3Amps (RC engine Glow plug). Will there be to much of a voltdrop across the MOSFET to supply 1.2V on the switched side?

VCC wil be 5V (powered from VRC)

What is the voltdrop across the MOSFET and does it vary with current?

Hi, Mark.

The drain-to-source resistance of the MOSFET is on the order of 4 - 5mĪ© when it is on, so the voltage drop across the MOSFET will be relatively low even at 2 - 3A.
