Micro Metal Gearmotor 210:1 with Encoder - Calculation of Speed

Hi, F0000TEK

I am still working on a project for school, but I am totaly unused to get out the rotational speed from the encoder signals.

What I do so far is that I measured the periodtime of one single pulse.

I also have attached a screenshot of the measured encoder signals, is there any formula for calculation the rotational speed! For what do I need to consider the average output number of pulses (420 pulses per revolution)?

Basic ideas:

Time for one rotation = time for 420 pulses

rotation rate (RPM) = number of rotations per minute = 60*(number of rotations per second)
