Is it okay to run this motor with 9V voltage ?
Hello.
Our largest (37D) metal gearmotors are intended for use at 12V but will work at lower voltages. Our other gearmotors are intended for use at 6V but will work at 9V (the micro metal gearmotors on the 3pi are run at 9.25V). It’s typically a tradeoff with motors: higher voltages mean higher torque and speed at the cost of a shorter lifespan.
