Maestro servo power pins

Are the servo power pins on the Maestro controllers regulated at all or do they simply put whatever power you apply to the entire set of servo pins? Example would be 12 volt power supply connected to servo power pins stays at 12 volts and doesn’t get regulated down to lets say 5 volts.

Hello, Norman.

The servo power rail on our Maestro USB Servo Controllers is not regulated in any way. The servo power rail is only a bus to distribute the power applied to the + pin, so whatever voltage you apply to the + pin will be available at the servo power rail.
