My next experiment will be to set a channel for output. I’m going to swing target cycles within a loop to determine how high a frequency I can get when cycling the ouput high to low. Once I have my max, I can adjust the frequency lower with a delay between cycles. I’ll be checking this on my scope obviously.
I’ll take the output and feed it into the pulse line on a stepper driver. With a 200ppr stepper, it comes out to 1.8 pulses per degree, without micro stepping. I’ll have to use a second channel to control the direction pin of the driver.
