Maestro, amp spec, Vservo

Say hypothetically I was running x24 servos in a mino-maestro, and was reaching their stall torque at 900 mA each. The “Vservo” has it’s limits I assume? I’m thinking of upgrading the servo controller on one of my projects, but I’d like to know how much Amperage (heat) Vservo can take in that lane before the maestro burns.

In practice this would be powered by 20-60A power supplies, or a lithium polymer set-up.

Hello,

We moved your post to a more appropriate section of the forum. You are correct, the servo rail on the Maestro can only handle around 6A of current. For more information on powering many servos from the Maestro and its power ratings, I suggest looking at this post by Derrill.
