I think your post has a typo. Are you using our LSM6DS33 Accelerometer and Gyro Carrier? You could use an accelerometer to meassure vibrations. Unfortunately, we do not have any specific examples for the LSM6DS33 or any experience to say how well this sensor would work for that application.
The general approach would start with reading the acceleration at a high frequency, but it might take some processing to translate those readings into useful information about vibration (though it could be as simple as tracking the difference between minimum and maximum readings in a certain time period).
