Looking for a laser module to make laser distance meter with minimal FOV

I need a laser module to integrate into a system that I am building. But it needs to act like any laser distance meter, so it needs to output the distance (analog or digital) to the actual dot, I cant afford almost any significant FOV as is with the VL53LX for instance.

I need to cover distances from 10cm to 200cm (0.1m to 2m)

Any suggestions of how I can do this?

The Garmin Lidar Lite v3 uses a focused laser beam with divergence 8 mRad (about 1/2 degree).

The TFmini Lidar has an acceptance angle of 2.3 degrees.
