Load ratings for 37D motor brackets?

It’s me again, with more questions about the 37D brackets :slight_smile:
(You answered questions well last time, and I purchased three pairs: Measurements for the 37D motor bracket? )

What is the load rating on those brackets? There will of course be some deflection, but how much until:

  • it becomes noticeable?
  • it doesn’t flex back?
  • it breaks?
    They seem to be made out of aluminum, bent on a brake, perhaps? 16 gauge?

Hello.

Unfortunately, we do not have load ratings for our brackets. They are made of 1.5mm-thick aluminum, and we get them manufactured in China. My sense is that they’re probably good for a few pounds before they start deflecting. If you decide to do some load tests, I’d love to hear what you find.
