Linear Actuator & Controller for Engine Dyno

Hello

My project is controlling the engine throttle on an engine dyno and also a ball valve that regulates the water flow through the dyno.

The throttle could be controlled by a stepper motor or a linear actuator but the ball valve would need to use a linear actuator due to the force required.

I would need a potentiometer and controller that would control exactly the amount of travel each actuator moves.

Do you have anything you would recommend?

Thanks for your time!

Jeff

Hello, Jeff.

You might consider a linear actuator with a built-in feedback potentiometer like the ones shown here.

You can control them with our jrk 21v3 controller. Instructions for using the jrk with those linear actuators with feedback are available on each actuator’s product page.
