LEDs not lit on Pololu Dual VNH5019 motor driver shield

Hi-

I’m setting up a pololu dual vnh5019 motor driver shield but don’t see the expected LEDs to indicate motor state. The blue power LED is illuminating as expected.

Is there a reason why that might not be happening? I’ve soldered the board as instructed.

Hello, Max.

Can you post some pictures of your setup that show all of your connections as well as close-up pictures showing the top and bottom sides of your driver shield? More details like what power supply, motors, and Arduino you are using with the board would also be useful.

Do you get these results if you use the unmodified demo program from our Arduino library for the shield with no motors connected (i.e. only connect your power supply and Arduino)?
