On my system, the hardware id for the USB SVP Programmer is USB\VID_1FFB&PID_0087&REV_0102&MI_00 which indicates my SVP has version 1.02 loaded yet the SVP document (pdf and html) only references version 1.01.
Is version 1.02 the latest?

Yes, version 1.02 is the latest.
The only difference between 1.01 and 1.02 is that 1.02 contains a small change to allow better support for programming the ATmega1284P. All SVP-1284s have shipped with version 1.02, and none of the SVP-324s need the upgrade, so we have not yet made 1.02 available for download.
