We are very excited to introduce the Wixel, a programmable microcontroller module with integrated USB and a 2.4 GHz radio. You can write your own programs or load pre-compiled, open-source apps to give your project a wireless serial link, create your own remote sensor network, and so much more.
Based on the versatile Texas Instruments CC2511F32 microcontroller, the Wixel offers 29 KB of application program memory, 4 KB of RAM, and 15 user I/O lines, including 6 analog inputs, two USARTs, and four timers:
Getting started with the Wixel is simple. It features a built-in USB bootloader, so no external programmer is required. Just download an app and use our free Wixel Configuration Utility to configure and load it onto your Wixel:
We have created a new forum section for Wixel-related discussion. We are looking forward to seeing how you use the Wixel in your projects!
