Ideal Diode Module Operating Temperature

Dear Polulu,

I am reaching to you to ask about your product #5382 (Pololu Ideal Diode Reverse Voltage Protector, 4-60V, 10A)'s operation and storage temperature.
LM74700’s datasheet states that it can operate between -40°C and +125°C. Is it also true for the whole module? If not I would like to know about the operation and storage temperature ranges of the whole module if possible. At least I want to know if it can operate safely between -30°C and +70°C.

Hello.

To avoid confusion, please note that our company name is Pololu (not “Polulu”).

We have not thoroughly characterized the operating temperature range of that board, but based on all of the components used I generally expect it to be fine between -40°C to 125°C, although you should expect to see some derated performance as you near those extremes.
