I need more technical specifications of Pololu DC motor

Hello,

I’ve bought 4 x “29:1 Metal Gearmotor 37Dx52L mm with 64 CPR Encoder” from Pololu in order to use with my master thesis. I make simulations of my robot to put valuable scientific data and in order to make those simulations i need some detailed information about these motors (like motor and electrical constants and inertia of the motors). How can i acquire these data?

Specifications on the site are as follows;

Gear ratio: 29:1
Free-run speed @ 6V: 175 rpm1
Free-run current @ 6V: 250 mA1
Stall current @ 6V: 2500 mA1
Stall torque @ 6V: 55 oz·in1
Free-run speed @ 12V: 350 rpm
Free-run current @ 12V: 300 mA
Stall current @ 12V: 5000 mA
Stall torque @ 12V: 110 oz·in
Lead length: 11 in

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have any more information or specifications for that motor than what is already listed on the product page. Note that you can approximate the torque at various speeds by assuming a linear relationship from zero torque at the free-run speed to the stall torque at zero speed. However, the best way to acquire the information you are looking for would be to take the measurements yourself.
