I’m trying to understand how to use the Enable feature for Adjustable 9-30V Step-Up Voltage Regulator U3V50AHV.
What does it mean to drive it low (under 0.7V)?
I’m trying to use a voltage splitter to split my Vin so that the board will stay sleeping when Vin is below 20V.
Is that possible?
Driving the EN pin under 0.7V means that if a voltage below 0.7 is connected to that pin it will disable the regulator. Unfortunately, I do not think the enable threshold on that regulator is precise enough to make adding a low-voltage cutoff practical. If your application uses a microcontroller you might consider monitoring the input voltage through a voltage divider and then using the microcontroller to control the enable pin.
