i am writing at the moment library for the 3pi, to control it over serial interface with windows.
can someone tell me how to connect the pololu wheel encoder to the 3pi robot ? , to count the steps

Unfortunately, the wheel encoders do not work with the 3pi. The encoders are made for one specific wheel, which is bigger than what we use on the 3pi. There are other reasons it won’t work, such as lack of space for the encoder board.
Is there anyway to measure the wheel rotation with 3pi ?

Unfortunately, there’s no easy way I know of. If I had to do it, I might start with trying to get an encoder disk mounted on the wheel or shaft and trying to get some reflectance sensors up against that disk.
