High-Power Stepper Motor Driver 36v4 Stall stays low

Hello All,

Been playing around with the High-Power Stepper Motor Driver 36v4 one issue that I am running into is that the stall pin is staying low, I am hoping to use this in my application. The FAULT pin is pulled high and I checked and one side of R4 is at 5V.

MCU is an Arduino Leonardo running the example code.
Stepper is a SY57STH76-2006A

Is it as simple as I need to configure the stall detect in the code?

Hello.

I moved your post to the “Motor controllers/drivers and motors” section of the forum since it seems more appropriate.

Unfortunately, we have not done much with the stall detection on that driver, so we cannot offer any specific advice, but you will likely need to do some experimentation to see if you can find settings that will work for your motor and application. You can find some considerations in my post in this thread.
