Help getting started with the 32u4

Hello,
just purchased the zump 32u4 robot and trying to play with the code in Arduino 1.7.9 but I get an error saying the selected board is not supported when I try to compile one of the examples. I installed the zum32u4 library but when I try to select the a-star 32u4 board it does not show up in the list. How do I get the resources for this board installed?

Hi.

Have you followed all the directions in the Installing Windows drivers and Programming using the Arduino IDE sections of the Pololu Zumo 32U4 Robot User’s Guide? In particular, the Programming using the Arduino IDE section has information about installing the add-on to let you select the board type as A-Star 32U4.

If you try following those instructions and still cannot see that A-Star in your Arduino IDE, could you post pictures of the Arduino boards menu and of your device manager with the Ports (COM & LPT) section expanded?
