Finding Tilting angle of a Platform Using MMA7361L accelerom

I tried to calibrate the accelerometer 3 axis ADC values when the platform is horizontal. Read successive 50 values and added them and averaged. Then take the difference of calibrated values and new ADC values when platform remain horizontal. But there is a difference between these values. Are there any better method to achieve this. I can post my MikroC code if you want to take a look.
Please help me.


How different are the values? Can you find a range of values for where the platform is horizontal?
