We purchased a new batch of Pololu - DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier, High Current.
Our old chips work with our same motor controller board; while the new chips do not work. Should I expect different behavior from the chip on the left versus the chip on the right? Was there a design change?

The only design change to our DRV8825 carrier was made back in 2013, and we used a new product number (2133) for the new revision (the older version was item #2132). Since both your boards have white sense resistors, they would both be the same item #2133. Can you tell us more about how you are using the drivers? Are the current limits on the old drivers and the new ones set the same? How are you supplying power and what motor are you driving? Are you testing them by swapping them into the exact same setup or are you using two identical setups? Could you post pictures of your setup?
