I got the GP2Y0D810Z0F sensor, I would like it to mesure things only 2-4 cm away from it. how do I do that?

The sensor is a digital sensor that will respond to anything it sees between 2 and 10 cm away. If you don’t want to detect things too far away, it sounds like you should use the GP2Y0D805Z0F Sharp digital distance sensor, which has a range of approximately 0.5 - 5 cm. We do not sell this version.
