D24V22F12 low output

I have this regulator connected to a 20v lithium 5Ah power tool battery that is reading 20.54V, but I am only seeing 0.565v on the output side. I was expecting to see something close to the nominal 12v. It is powering a small RF receiver. It has not operated correctly since initial installation. I am not using the other optional features of the unit, I only want to step down the voltage. Any suggestions as to how to get the unit to work properly?
Thanks,

If your RF receiver is supposed to pull less than 1 amp, you could use a 7812 IC voltage regulator to limit the battery voltage to 12v. Have you tried the D24V22F12 with some other load, besides the radio? Maybe the radio is shorted and pulling the voltage down. Try lighting a 12v break light bulb, or a 12v car interior lamp.

Hello.

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your voltage regulator. Could you post some pictures of your setup that show all of your connections, as well as some close-up pictures of both sides of the regulator? Also, could you try measuring the output of the regulator with no load connected?

Thank you Tom & Brandon! I have many other things going on, and that is the reason for my slow reply.
Short: The voltage regulator is doing it’s job; the RF receiver has apparently reached EOL.

I checked the output with a tail light bulb as you suggested, and there was no light.
I isolated the RF board and checked again, and the voltage regulator is showing 12v with a meter, and the bulb lights up. So I have mixed feelings: the DelTang RF receiver is no longer made, so I will have to do some more shopping, or abandon this particular project.
Thanks again for your troubleshooting guidance!
