Connecting to 5v out for a switch

Hi all,

Can someone tell me what is the best way to connect to 5v out on the Mini Maestro 12 servo card. I want to add a switch and it requires a connection to the 5v out. Looking at the card, I see a hole where the 5v out is and I wonder what people have used to attach to the hole. Is the best way to solder a wire there…or to use a tiny screw . I dont want to damage my card.

Hello, Ed.

I have moved your thread to the Pololu Servo Controllers section.

You can solder a wire directly to the 5V out pin, or you can solder a header pin in and use jumper wires to connect to that pin.
