I can see the pololu has different types of ball casters such as-
Pololu Ball Caster with 1 inch Plastic Ball
Pololu Ball Caster with 3/4 inch Plastic Ball
Pololu Ball Caster with 3/4″ Metal Ball
etc.
However, it’s not clear to potential buyers which they should they choose when. Does the choice of material (plastic or metal) and ball diameter depend on the size of the chassis or its height from the ground? I think it will be better if you add a write-up to cover this matter.

Our ball casters with the metal ball will be more durable, and the additional weight may or may not be advantageous depending on what you are doing. If less weight is desirable, you can use the versions with plastic balls. And if you are not sure what will be better in your specific application, they are only a few dollars each so it is easy to try both.
