Hi,

Please see the attached pictures

I am using a 10W, 12V solar panel to power up a system which is capable to taking input strictly 12V
This panel is producing 20V under sun causing system to fuse out

Is their any cheap charge controller chip i can add to the panel ?
If yes, Can you please share the chip details

Hello,

We make several voltage regulators that are capable of stepping something like a 17V power supply to a steady 12V, however they are not really suitable by themselves for charging most batteries. We do not have any specific suggestions for designing a system that might do that.
