I was programming the board suddenly it was not recognized. Once the reset button is pressed twice the board is recognized but is again disconnected after 10 seconds. I am finding it very difficult to program this way.

It sounds like you might be using one of our A-Star Programmable Controllers. If so, can you try uploading the Blink.ino example code to your A-Star and see if that fixes the issue? There might be something wrong with your code that is causing the A-Star to become unresponsive after uploading your program. You can find more details on what causes that state under the “Reviving an unresponsive A-Star” section of the A-Star 32U4 user’s guide.

My code was messing up the serial ports. I changed it. Its working thanks a lot Amanda.
