Best switches for basic rc. SP SPDT or any others

I need to “switch” from old school mech switches for my standard RC boats, cars, planes, etc. I use mostly 9.6-7.2 V - 2000-3600 mAh NiCd and some 11.1 V Lipo 2200 mAh. Which ones are the simplest to use? I do have some knowledge of electronics.

Hello.

Could you elaborate on what you are looking for, and what you are trying to do?

Brandon

Thanks for getting back so quickly Brandon.

What I am looking for are simple plug-in switches connected to my standard Futaba RC or other similar brand on board receiver activated by the transmitter toggle or other intended servo type control that will switch on or off power or movement to any low voltage accessory or generic electric motors (brushless and brushed preferably) that in the old days we did a servo and mechanical switches so now I can omit the servo and the mechanical switch (less weight and hassle).
What started all of this I want, in this case, to switch one leg + or - of the DC power supply (5-9 V±) to two separate motors. One on and one off and visa versa. Then when I saw all other option I got overloaded but for the most part a SPST switch is fine for other add-ons at this point. So at least two switch types.
It looks like you have what I need and much more that I someday will want but as I said I am only somewhat knowledgeable with electronics and don’t want to get more or less than what appears to be quite simple. Until I looked at your options.

Thanks again for you help and I am glad I found your company.

Hello, John.

There are multiple ways you could accomplish something like that. If you just want a pair of SPST switches that are triggered by an RC signal, then you might consider choosing a pair of our RC switches based on your power requirements:

Then if you want to control them from the same signal, with one turning off when the other turns on, you can follow the instructions in the Configuring Your RC Switch section of the RC switch user’s guide to invert the behavior of one of the boards.

Alternatively, you might be able to connect both loads to one SPDT switch, like the Pololu RC Switch with Relay:

You could connect one load to NC, one load to NO, and your power to COM.

Thank you Patrick. You and your team are quite helpful. I will look at those and place an order.
