BabyO Combine M1 and M2 outputs?


I have an application question regarding whether or not M1 and M2’s outputs can be combine to achieve a ~2A continuous output. Can they? :slight_smile: And are there any steps that need to be taken other than “Make sure you set the outputs correctly!”



We do not recommend paralleling the outputs of a the Baby Orangutan’s motor driver because you cannot also parallel the inputs (they are not made available anywhere on the board).

If you are looking for a microcontroller board with an onboard motor driver, you might consider one of our Arduino-compatible A-Star 32U4 Robot Controllers, which can handle ~1.7A or ~1.8A continuously on both motor channels (depending on which version you get).
