Arrangement of capacitor on power supply with mosfet switch

Hi,

I’m using one of pololu’s mosfet switches as a power switch between a battery power source and 32 neopixels.

It is strongly recommended by the docs to place a large capacitor across the +/- power leads to power neopixels.

When using the mosfet switch as the on switch, where should the capacitor be arranged? Before the switch or after the switch? Between vout and gnd?

Hello.

Capacitors on the input or output of our MOSFET switches should not affect their operation. However, if the documentation for the NeoPixels recommends adding an capacitor to its power input, I would recommend adding one as close to the LED strip as practical.
