Acel and gyro readings

Hi,
I´m using the altIMU10 v5 and Im trying to make some aceleremoter and gyro readings, but in order not to do more readings than I need, I would like to know if there is any register that indicates a minimum movement. I´ve seen one called SM_THS (13h) but I don´t know if it is what I need. Can anyone help me?

Hi.

We have not used that register, so we are not entirely sure how well it would work to do what you want. In case you have not seen it already: you can get a good idea (including a basic software routine) for what is involved in using that register by reading the “Significant motion” section of the LSM6DS33 application note, which you can find under the Resources tab of its product page.
