Any basic guidance on the process for wiring the two above products together would be very appreciated. My project is aimed at controlling two dc motors.
You can start by carefully studying Pololu’s DRV8835 web page, which shows the basic connections (two digital pins, two PWM pins and ground).
Thanks Jim,I have printed the information and studied the user guides. I am struggling with the simplified drive/ brake operation.
The drive/coast mode consumes much less power than drive/brake mode, but drive/coast mode is highly nonlinear in terms of motor speed versus PWM value. The latter doesn’t matter if you use encoders and feedback for motor speed control.
