I uploaded line follower Pid code on my 3pi robot and realised that the robot speed is match less than the simple line follower code (not Pid). Is it normal? Can I do something to increase the speed?
The line follower PID code sets a limit on the maximum motor speed. If you adjust the maximum motor speed along with the PID parameters, you can get the 3pi to run faster. More information on this can be found in the “Advanced Line Following with 3pi: PID Control” section of the 3pi user’s guide.
