2868 boost/buck and ext. pot

Hi, my stack of 2868 boards just came in the mail and I’m testing them.

I was wondering if it would remain stable if I wire an external potentiometer (output voltage )? This would mean wires a few inches into the outside world.
Would this cause any instability and noise?

Hi.

I expect connecting an external potentiometer through wires a few inches long would affect the regulator’s stability, so I do not recommend it.
