Chimdia Abara Obasi is a Master’s student in Robotics, Autonomous Systems, and Telecommunications at the University of Greater Manchester. With a background in electronic design, embedded systems, and hands-on robotics, he is passionate about applying intelligent technologies to real-world problems. Before pivoting into robotics, Chimdia gained several years of experience in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, working on engineering and automation projects that improved operational efficiency. He brings a practical, systems-oriented approach to building and experimenting with autonomous platforms, and is particularly interested in the role of robotics in driving sustainable transformation across industries.
