Can anyone help me identify what IC is the QTRX ( the digital one with black pcb, with dimming support) using? Mine is labeled 622k or 622r (cant really identify the last letter). I can only assume that it is what makes the dimming possible. It would great if i can read the datasheet as i cannot really use the pololu library in my environment.

We do not disclose or commit to a specific LED driver on the QTRX boards, but we do have a breakdown of how the dimming control works on the product pages, under the “Emitter control” heading. For convenience here is a link to the QTRX-HD-01A. If you have any specific questions about how the emitter control works after reading that, I would be happy to help further.
